As a professional firm, we follow SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) procedures through our custom built project management system. We build your projects on our high-end test servers, to which clients have access at all times. Our clients are able to follow the progress and provide feedback throughout the development. Our Development Life Cycle

Initial consultation

Atlanta Web Expert project analysts contacts the Client to draw the outline of each requirement seperately. Meetings tend to be more than one where the requirements (functionalities, specifications), project timeline, project cost, project risks and deliverables are discussed at high level. Project execution plan is presented to the Client.

Contract

Financial details are finalized and contracting takes place. Contract will be signed off by both parties and legalized.

Requirements meeting/deliverables

This is the project kick-off. We hold tow major meetings. One with the Client for scope requirements and the other one is with the team for technical requirements. Client signs off of final requirements and project plan for kick-off.

Prototype and Client approval

Based on the project execution plan, a prototype will be developed and first client acceptance testing will be scheduled to review this prototype. The Client will be provided proper testing guidelines and asked for signing off the prototype after the successful completion of testing. The Client’s, if there is any, questions and concerns will be discussed and required changes will be made on the prototype.

Development

Once prototype is signed off by the Client, development will resume immediately. In development phase actual coding and debugging will take place and the Client will be informed constantly about the progress.

Client acceptance testing

Once the development of the project is complete, second client acceptance testing will be scheduled. For this testing, Client will be provided more detailed test plan.

Final approval

Client approves that all the contracted requirements and functionalities are in place. Deployment will never begin until unless Client signs off the deployment documents.

Deployment

Once the developed system including the out of scope functionalities is approved by the Client, “Freeze” process begins. During freeze process, no set-up action can be taken and no changes can be made to the system and Client is asked to provide final feedback.

Post deployment verification and On-going support

Once transition is complete and system goes “live” Client will be asked to verify all the desired functions are in place and working properly. On-going support begins immediately and monitors the system continuously for any issues. All the minor changes are handled within the ongoing support specofocations.
