An open source management system provides for a collection of measures that are used to manage the flow of work in a joint environment that allows specified users to access it. Atlanta Web Experts offers two types of open source systems namely Joomla and Drupal.
Joomla is an open source portal engine and content management system that is used for publishing content on the internet, intranet and an MVC (model view controller) web applications that can be utilized independently. Its features include RSS feeds, blogs and polls, news flashes and printable versions of pages among others. It also contains support for language internationalization; this gives it an international appeal as it can be used by the user in their preferred language.
Drupal, like its counterpart, is also an open source content management system. Apart from being an open source CMS and a content management framework system, it's standard release, known as Drupal core comes with the basic features of an open source system such as system administration, menu management, page lay out customization and user account registration and maintenance among others.
